Favourite Nail Polishes for June

I know it's a few days late, but here's my June Favourites post! Decided to dedicate it to one of my all time favourite things, nail polishes :)

These are the shades I've been wearing in the past month and I think they'll be my firm favourites for summer...

My top 2 polishes at the moment are Orly Basket Case - a bright pink creme and Essie's Turquoise and Caicos - somewhere in between turquoise blue and mint green. It took me ages to find the Essie polish. I finally got it on eBay before I realised they have just bought out a range in Boots!... These are both great summer shades and look lovely with an accent glitter nail.

Orly Basket Case

Talking of glitter! This holographic glitter by OPI (my favourite nail polish brand) looks awesome as an accent nail, particularly with green or blue shades... I won't say too much about it as I reviewed it in a previous post which you can read HERE.

Ciate Jelly Bean is a darker pink with a slight sheen. I love Ciate in general and spend a lot of time raving about their caviar manicure, you can read my post for that HERE.

Barry M is another great brand for nail polish, if I want something vibrant or a bit different I tend to head straight to the Barry M counter... But recently their pastel shades have caught my eye and this baby blue is gorgeous. It's subtle enough of you're scared of being too 'nail crazy' but it's still super trendy and perfect for summer.

Lastly, I've been using a new top coat this month. I bought the Jessica Brilliance High Gloss top coat as I wanted something really shiny. This doesn't disappoint, it makes your nails look super glossy and pretty much chip resistant. It's not as shiny as I'd like it to be so I'm still on the search for the ultimate top coat, if you have any suggestions then do let me know :)
