Loreal Lumi Magique Primer - MAC Strobe Cream Dupe!

Happy Saturday ladies! Hope you've had a good week... the latter part of the week consisted of a horrid tummy bug for me :( But I'm feeling better today & I'm about to get ready for a trip to Costa with one of my close friends to try some goodies from their Christmas menu, yum!

Today I'm reviewing a recent purchase of mine, it's the Loreal Lumi Magique Primer. I bought it a couple of weeks ago after running out of my beloved Smashbox primer after seeing it in Boots. I liked the idea of this giving my skin more of a dewy finish. I'm admittedly a matte girl at heart as I have quite oily skin but a slight glow is always a good thing!

The packaging's sleek - white and rose gold with a pump. I prefer pumps as you can easily control how much product you use and therefore not waste any. I use one pump which covers my whole face.

After the first use, I loved it! It reminds me a lot of MAC's strobe cream. A white, pearlescent liquid.

As you can see, it creates the most beautiful sheen to the skin, it's not at all greasy or wet looking and once foundation's applied, my skin looks healthy and glowing, not shiny at all.

My foundation lasts a good few hours with this base, similar to my Smashbox primer and I think I've been converted to the dewy look rather than matte :) I love that this product acts almost as a moisturiser as well as a primer as it really feels like it's hydrating my skin. A winner in my book!

You can buy this from Boots - Link - £9.99
